Mayfair Tech is Cyber Essentials certified and we guide clients to certification of their own from our office on Albemarle Street in Mayfair, London. We prepare your IT to meet the standard, implement the controls it requires and support you through the assessment.
What certification demonstrates
Cyber Essentials is the UK Government-backed certification for protection against the most common cyber attacks. Holding it shows clients, insurers and counterparties that your security meets a recognised standard.
Why clients pursue it
Some clients need the certificate itself, because diligence questionnaires and insurance applications ask whether they hold it. Just as often, clients come to us wanting to improve their security and unsure where to begin. Cyber Essentials gives that work a defined standard to meet, a foundation to build on rather than a task with no end.
Our role
We begin by assessing your IT against the standard and set out what meets it and what does not. We implement the controls that are missing, from device settings to access controls. When your IT is ready, we guide you through the assessment and any assessor queries to certification. We hold the certification ourselves and renew it each year, so the process we guide you through is one we complete for our own business.
