Diligence arrives at different depths. Some questionnaires are satisfied by our alignment to the frameworks investors expect, and we hold Cyber Essentials certification ourselves. The deepest, including diligence from global banks, examine specific controls such as data loss prevention. We have answered both many times, every new client draws on that experience, and references are available on request.
When an investor asks for a control that does not yet exist, we implement it, scoped and evidenced with the deal timetable in mind, so the questionnaire is answered and the deal keeps moving. When a deal moves quickly we move with it. New joiners are working on day one and confidential matters stay confidential, including from the rest of the business where the mandate requires it.
